Frequently asked questions

How do I run code in QCode?

Open or create a file, then tap the Run button in the toolbar. QCode sends the file to our execution servers and streams back the output in the console panel at the bottom of the screen.

What's the difference between Hobby and QCode Studio?

Hobby is free and includes a fixed number of local projects, files per project, and code runs per day. QCode Studio is an optional monthly subscription that removes those limits and adds GitHub Codespaces access and git sync. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings ▸ Apple Account ▸ Subscriptions on your device.

Which languages are supported?

Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Go, and Rust are fully supported with syntax highlighting and execution. More languages are added over time.

Is my code private?

Running a file sends it to our servers to execute it and nowhere else. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what's collected and how it's used.

I was charged but don't see my subscription active

Force-quit and reopen QCode, or check Settings ▸ Apple Account ▸ Subscriptions to confirm the purchase went through on Apple's side. If it still doesn't show up after a restart, email us with your Apple ID's order number and we'll sort it out.

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds have to go through Apple directly — we don't have access to your payment method. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I delete my account or data?

Email us at matejkosc1@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and we'll delete your data. See the Privacy Policy for what we store.
